The lakeFS UI fully supports DuckDB for data exploration

The lakeFS community collaborated with DuckDB, and now the latter has full support from lakeFS.

This capability enables you to run SQL queries on Parquet and other tabular formats, directly from the lakeFS UI. You can easily explore data, look at its schema, compare versions, and more - without using any additional tools or installing additional components.

Similar to Git, lakeFS UI supports a blame button for data changes

Multiple applications often change the same data table. To investigate this, teams need to know which app is responsible for the change. This is a zero-blame game, just a way to start debugging our system and exploring the data flow. Now, you can do it directly from the lakeFS UI.
